From our early days serving a 60-mile radius in Iowa, CITY has steadily expanded into Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and parts of Illinois and North Dakota. That growth has been powered by strategic investments in infrastructure, people, and partnerships. Today, CITY operates multiple plants and depots across the region—all while maintaining the high-quality service our clients expect.
Growth at CITY isn’t about chasing every opportunity—it’s about pursuing the right ones. Acquisitions have helped us enter new sectors like healthcare and strengthen our presence in existing markets. At the same time, we’re focused on organic expansion: building route density, acquiring new territories, and continually investing in our team and tools.

All three divisions are actively hiring for sales positions as we scale our footprint across the Midwest.
One area we’re especially excited about is the growth of our First Aid & Safety division. As Colin explains: “We see significant gaps in the traditional route-based first aid model, and we are doubling down on a full-service van-based model to offer more comprehensive solutions. Just as we’ve adapted to changes in the laundry industry, we are applying the same forward-thinking approach to first aid, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of businesses across our service areas.”
