Many of our managers strongly believe in getting you the experience you need through actually working the job.
We don't believe in having our interns be responsible for getting the boss coffee. We want you to learn about the things you care about.
Internships for high school students are as much part of our program as positions for college and university students.

CITY has provided me with a lot of great experiences. I’ve learned about how to present myself and how to function in a professional environment. That is something that you don’t get from the classroom. I also learned about marketing and getting to work with software like Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
When I went on a college tour, they asked me what video experience I had, and I was fortunate enough to show them my portfolio that I created during my internship at CITY. Living in a small town like Oelwein, there is no big film production company, but then I saw CITY’s marketing internship opportunity, and it was a great way for me to get my foot in the door.
